We strongly recommend that you use bicycles and bus transportation for your trips in order to avoid using the car (which is a much less environmentally friendly option)…

LOUNGE & BAR A COGNAC
After a long day sightseeing or lazing on the beach our friendly lounge, with its warm atmosphere and deep sofas, provides the perfect place to meet up with friends and family or meet new people and share your day. Chill out on the decked area, relax and enjoy superb views of the vineyards and the sea in the distance. In the colder months, after a brisk walk along the long sandy beaches, guests can cuddle up by the crackling fire with a good book or enjoy a game of chess.
RENT A BIKE
We also offer mountain-bike rental.
They are very comfortable and will take you down cycle paths and dirt roads… so that you can discover the preserved environment and the local historical and architectural heritage…
LOCATION
The Hôtel Les Vignes de la Chapelle sits on Sainte-Marie de Ré, a small town located on the south coast as you enter Ile de Ré. This charming village with its golden sandy beaches, vineyards and protected natural site is the ideal location for a relaxing holiday in a peaceful, authentic environment. The nearest beach is only a ten-minute walk across the vineyards from our hotel.
